Update on Book 3

First I want to thank all of you for your comments and support during these stressful times. Reality can sometimes be much stranger then any friction I could ever dream up, but with that said I will get book 3 finished before long. I also appreciate the volunteers to beta read book 3 for me. I do realize that is one (of my many) shortfalls, editing. Anyway, enough of my self pity. I know many of you are waiting to hear what happens to Talon and crew as they continue on there quest to just get out of Virginia. I promise that Talon will finally make it out of Virginia in this book, but can’t make any other promises, other than there are several twists and turns. So thanks again for not giving up on me and I’ll have book 3 out soon. Take care, stay safe. DKW

Growing up in the Ozarks, David spent a great deal of his time growing up with his Grandfather, learning how to fish, hunt, and trap. Additionally, he learned many of the old skills such as how to hold a star drill (which by the way I would not do for anyone now that my Grandfather is gone), hack a rail road tie and how to make hand made shake shingles. Joining the Marine Corps (0341) at the age of 17, he enjoyed his time in the grunts, but switched over to Counterintelligence after picking up Sergeant. Staying with the USMC for just over 20 years, he retired in 1998 at the age of 38, attaining the rank of CWO-2. After retiring he has worked for a few different government agencies and as a contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan. Still active as a contractor, he enjoys writing in what spare time he can find, with his first published book coming out in May 2019, “Lone Star Odyssey”. His second book in the series should be out late fall 2019. Living in Texas with his wife and kids, most of his time outside of work is spent with his wife and kids, their horses and dogs, and with repairs around the ranch.

  2. Thanks for the heads up. I’ve been obsessively checking audible weekly to see if book 3 had dropped, listened to 1 and 2 a few times now in the interim.

  5. Do you have an idea on the release date on Audible? I really enjoy the series. It sure helps pass the time while setting cabinets
