Sitting down to my computer tonight I was determined that before I started writing on my book, I would write a short post to everyone. Without thinking I typed out the above title. Then it struck me, we really are “almost there”, the key point being that phrase could mean many different things, depending on whom is reading it. Is it about our economic,or the direction our once mighty country is going, or about how weak we (our leadership) have become on the world stage, or is it how we have forgotten how the horror of the holocaust (both the Jewish and the Armenian) not to forget the current ongoing extermination of the Uyghurs. Or is it the pitiful way our country has stood back and allowed Russia to invade and take by force of arms territory they wanted, therefore setting the future stage for China to do the same to Taiwan while we sit back and watch. Or is it how we have gone from being almost energy independent to whatever you want to call we are today. Or really is it about where the next 70.00 dollars is going to come from to fill up your car so you can get to work next week or worst yet having to tell your kids we have to cut out summer sports camp this year because cash is short right now.
Noticing a trend here, not once did I say, fear for your life or the life of a family member (although I guess that depends on where you live right now). Most of us can still walk from our car to our house without fear (staying alert) but not in fear, but slowly we are almost there…..already there if you have to ride the NYC subway. How many of you have stopped doing something as simple as going to the mall with your family because of what “might” happen? Some might say your “privilege” is showing and to that I say, you are damn right it is. I’m an American. It is our right or privilege to feel safe in our home, car, town, or even on the subway in NYC. And something is wrong, really wrong with our society if we start living in fear. I don’t know about you but I refuse to accept that for myself, my family, my nation. We are better than that or were. Up to you. Bottom line, we are almost there.
Oh, and by the way, I’m in the editing and clean up phase of book three. Hoping to have it out on Kindle by the end of April. Audible soon after that. Take care, be safe, be prepared. S/F

Can’t wait to see what comes next for Talon. I appreciate your books and understand life and thoughts get in the way. I also want to say I understand your frustration. We live in a fiercely independent state that the people that have no business interfering with are trying to turn us purple. I am seeing things I never thought I’d see here. That said, I still see more of the good than the bad. I too am an American, but I am also a Texan, to the core. The people today with no idea what the world goes through during war times better wake up. Now.

Government made you change your story?
You were making DHS, and even the military, look really bad, and given the arc of book 2, it looked like there would have been significant corruption and treason coming from government leaders in book 3, and it would have been even more of American government vs. the American people, so I was surprised they would let you continue with that arc, but I was really hoping they wouldn’t force you to Nerf your story. No one wants to hear a story that backs up the establishment narrative.

The USA government didn’t just sit by and watch Russia enter Ukraine. The USA governnent made it happen. If you don’t know how and why I would recommend you study up.
As far as the holocaust goes there were between 5.6 to 6 million Jews killed furing WW2. Lately I’ve been hearing 11 million. Ukraine rounded up around 1 million. Those would be “Soviet Jews”. Russia had around 27 million people killed in WW2. Depending what numbers you go with it’s double or triple the amount of Jews killed. Japan killled around 20 million Chinese with 3/4 being non military. That blows doors on the Jews.
In WW2 there were around 75 million people killed world wide. WWII wasn’t only about the jews. 75 million lives is a lot more then the 5 to 11 million Jews..
